Jake Paul is set to face WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis in an exhibition fight on November 14 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Gervonta Davis’ WBA lightweight title will not be at stake due to the significant weight difference between the two fighters.
Paul weighed in at 200lbs for his most recent fight, while Davis continues to compete at 135lbs.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer, who first rose to fame through Disney Channel and social media before transitioning into the ring, holds a professional record of 12 wins and just one defeat.
“Yes, he is one of the top pound-for-pound fighters in the world, but my motto is anyone, anytime, anyplace, against all odds,” Paul posted on X.
He followed with the words, “first David, then Goliath,” hinting at recent reports linking him to a potential bout with British heavyweight Anthony Joshua.
Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn recently told BBC Sport that Paul could realistically be next for Joshua once the two-time heavyweight champion returns from injury in 2026.
As for Davis, the American remains unbeaten in 31 professional fights, with 30 wins and one draw. Remarkably, 28 of those victories have come by knockout.

Jake Paul’s most recent win came against 39-year-old former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, whom he defeated by unanimous decision. Prior to that, the 28-year-old earned a decision victory over 58-year-old Mike Tyson in November.
Gervonta “Tank” Davis, meanwhile, last fought in March, when he retained his WBA lightweight title following a controversial draw against Lamont Roach Jr. Earlier this year, in January, Davis was ranked No. 8 on boxing’s pound-for-pound list.
Since turning professional in 2020, Paul has been determined to prove himself to the boxing world. After wins over a fellow YouTuber, a former NBA player, and three ex-UFC fighters, Paul suffered his first career defeat to Tommy Fury in 2023.
But with Paul fighting at around 200lbs in his last bout and Davis competing at lightweight (135lbs), the 65lb gap makes their upcoming exhibition less about sporting merit and more about spectacle.
Physically, Paul also holds significant advantages: he stands 6ft 1in tall compared to Davis at 5ft 5in, and he’ll enjoy a nine-inch reach advantage.
Details such as the contracted weight, number of rounds, and glove size have yet to be confirmed. Against Tyson, Paul wore larger 14oz gloves and fought shorter rounds, concessions made due to Tyson’s age.
The matchup has clear echoes of Logan Paul’s 2021 exhibition with Floyd Mayweather — another clash where size outweighed substance. In that bout, Mayweather, a five-weight world champion, was 35lbs lighter and six inches shorter than Paul.
